Hey Reader,

She asks again on Sunday. Last week you told her you would think about her request. Now she stands in the hallway, waiting for your answer.

You want one sentence ready before she asks. You explain your no in three texts because you believe a short answer needs a long defense. A plain answer respects both of you. Yes means yes, and no means no.

Here is a sentence to practice on Tuesday: "I hear what you need. This season my assignment does not include this request, and I will point you to someone who fits this request."

In the workshop, you write your own sentence for your own relationships, practice the words out loud, and choose one boundary to put in place within seven days.
